Indiana School of Lutherie is located in Plainfield, In and opened its doors in 2014. The school operates as a 501(c)3 non profit organization dedicated to teaching the principles of traditional and modern lutherie.

Ryan studied under luthiers Dann Ross and Jamon Zeiler and has been building guitars since 2007. His work can be found on facebook and Fine Custom Guitars by Ryan J. Cobb

Mike is a founding Member of the school and has been developing our curriculum since 2008. A cabinet builder by trade, mike is also an avid Motorcyclist.

Doug Completed his first guitar with ISofL in 2012. Since then he has completed 7 instruments and continues to help with the operations at the school.

Electronics specialist and all around guitar tech / repairman. Tony was a classically trained musician. He also specialized in amp repair and is profecient in recording and sound engineering.

Scott Norrick is our newest graduate. He continues to contribute to the school by student teaching and continuing to build instruments. Scott completed 2 high quality instruments, on his own, in the first 6 months after graduating our program.
